In 1972, Selig S. Harrison, scholar and journalist, was one of the first Americans admitted to North Korea after the Korean War. Upon return from his 10th visit, Harrison reported to the U.S.-Korea Institute about the current political climate in North Korea, including insights on nuclear and economic issues (remarks available).
