Jung Hoon Kim is a three-term member of the South Korean National Assembly representing the Nam-gu District in Busan and a senior member of the Saenuri Party. He served as the Senior Deputy Floor Leader of the Grand National Party in 2009 and was a special envoy for President Lee Myung Bak to Columbia, Paraguay, and Brazil in 2010. Representative Kim recently finished his term as the Chairman of the National Policy Committee, which oversees the Government Policy Coordination Office, Ministry of Patriots and Veterans’ Affairs, Financial Supervisory Commission and Fair Trade Commission. He is currently the chairman of the US-Korean War Veterans Support Foundation and a fellow at the Institute for Corean-American Studies (ICAS).
