Bokyeong Park is a Research Fellow and Leader of the Middle East and Africa Team at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP) and a Visiting Professor at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Mr. Park also sits on the Policy Advisory Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. Previously, Mr. Park held the positions of Visiting Researcher at the International Center for the Study of East Asian Development, Research Fellow at the Presidential Commission for Policy Planning, and Visiting Scholar in the Department of Economics at the University of California at Berkeley.
Mr. Park’s primary research interests include: foreign aid and international development cooperation, governance and international capital flows, Korean economic development, and the oil market in the Middle East. He has published a number of articles in academic journals related to economics. Mr. Park holds a B.A., M.A., and Ph.D., all in economics, from Seoul National University.
