Yoon Yeo-Sang is the President of the Database Center for North Korean Human Rights, an organization that collects data on human rights abuses in North Korea and on the resettlement of Northern refugees in the South. In addition, Dr. Yoon teaches at the University of North Korean Studies and Ewha Woman’s University on the experience of North Korean refugees in South Korea and on North Korean society. He is also a member of the Association of Supporters for Defecting North Korean Residents and the National Reconciliation Committee.

Dr. Yoon’s primary research interests include: North Korean human rights, unification policy, and refugees.  He holds a Ph.D. in politics from Yeung Nam University.
