Reception for New USKI Chairman and Relaunch of 38 North

The US-Korea Institute (USKI) at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) cordially invites you to a reception announcing the appointment of Ambassador Robert L. Gallucci as the new USKI Chairman and launch of newly-updated websites for both USKI and 38 North, USKI’s signature web-journal offering analysis of events in and around North Korea.

Following opening remarks from Amb. Gallucci, Jae Ku and Joel Wit, USKI will host a reception for guests to meet the new USKI Chairman and 38 North editors, and interact with the new websites.

Amb. Gallucci previously served as US Ambassador-at-Large and Special Envoy for the US Department of State and Dean of the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown. Previous Chairs of the US-Korea Institute at Johns Hopkins SAIS include Founding Chairman Don Oberdorfer (2006-2013) and Amb. Stephen W. Bosworth (2013-2016).
